Dominic Schimizzi

Co-Founder, HWS AI Club · Founder & CSO, Licom AI

Dominic co-founded the HWS AI Club and is a founder and CSO of Licom AI, the AI consulting agency he started with Zack Hanna. He graduated from Hobart and William Smith in 2026 with a degree in Economics.

He also played forward for Hobart hockey, winning a national championship in 2024–25 and earning a place on the SUNYAC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

Dominic is the club’s loudest advocate for AI literacy. In his article “The Dangerous Gap,” he argues that universities fail students by treating AI as something to ban rather than a skill to teach — because students are already using it, just without guidance. He now works as an AI Implementor at Metro Development Group in Tampa, at the intersection of two things he cares about: artificial intelligence and real estate development.
